Sony Ericsson C905 available to order

The Sony Ericsson C905 is free and only £30 per month on an 18 month contract, or £40 per month on a 12 month contract. Available to order on O2 or Orange.

Stock is due 24th October. Pre-order and be one of the first to own Sony Ericsson’s first 8 megapixel cameraphone.

The 8 megapixel camera has GPS geotagging, autofocus, face detection and both a xenon flash and a photo flash. It will also be the first non-smartphone from Sony Ericsson with Wi-fi support.

It’s not a small phone though, weighing a hefty 136g and measuring almost 20mm thick. You’ll be more likely to keep it in your bag rather than your pocket.

Full review coming soon.

The large 2.2 inch display is 10% bigger than the C902 and it has a built-in accelerometer, turn the W902 on it’s side and the screen will automatically rotate into landscape mode.

The Sony Ericsson W902 lacks the dedicated camera key of the C902 but it gains hardware music keys on the front of the phone. It features the latest Walkman software and all the high end Walkman goodies such as shake control and TrackID.

Free Nokia N96 deals and hands-on review

It’s here! I’ve had a play with it and I can tell you everything you need to know about Nokia’s most eagerly anticipated phone of the year. I was sceptical at first but I’m now convinced that the new Nokia N96 is enough of an evolution for existing N95 8GB users to upgrade. The BBC iPlayer is a wonderful addition. Then there’s the extra memory, it has 16GB built in, which can be expanded to as much as 32GB. It also has the new N-Gage compatibility and lots of little improvements too.
